Who is this course for?

Is this course for me?

Social media presents itself with great opportunities and benefits to embrace for Veterinary Practices, such as reaching and communicating with the public, engaging in health-related discussions and networks, and increasing awareness of the various veterinary services available at your clinic.

It is important to remember that anything that your practice posts on social media is immediately in the public domain and can be easily copied and redistributed without the practice’s knowledge or consent. You should presume that everything you share online will be there permanently and widely available.

Your social media should make you seem relatable, knowledgeable and ultimately help to attract clients and bring them into your clinic.

Join our tutor Kathryn as she talks you through everything you need to know and consider when taking over the role of maximising your practice social media presence.

MRCVS CPD Speaker Kathryn Cowley BVSc MRCVS GP (Cert) SAM

I graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2011, since then I have been working in small animal practice in the greater Manchester area. I initially worked in permanent roles before starting work as a locum in 2016, working in both first opinion and emergency clinics. I developed an interest in teaching while I was involved in nurse training and Assesment of the NPL. I have completed a certificate in small animal medicine and particularly enjoy emergency work and complex medical cases. As well as working as a locum vet, I am the social media manager and veterinary advisor for Canine Arthritis Management (CAM)
