Who is this course for?

Is this course for me?

“It makes a tremendous amount of impact to know that someone sees you for who you authentically are and that they support you in that,”

Within the veterinary industry, we work closely with people from all walks of life. Whether they are colleagues in your team, suppliers, or pet owners; veterinary practices are usually at the center of communities. Our actions can change the outcome of people’s day.

We all have busy lives in the veterinary community, and generally our focus is on our patients rather than the humans around us. But making our practices more comfortable and inclusive for all can have all sorts of benefits.

On this bitesize course we will look at why LGBTQ+ Inclusion and Diversity should be important to everyone in the veterinary community (and the world!)

You will understand the types of LGBTQ+ people and their experiences and also the difficulties LGBTQ+ people face in the veterinary practice.

Do join us on this bitesize course and explore how you and your team can make the veterinary community a more accepting and inclusive place for all LGBTQ+ people...
